We are currently seeking applications for a Compliance and Investigation Manager within the Scottish Charity Regulator (OSCR) based in Dundee. This is a permanent and pensionable appointment and new entrants will normally start on the minimum of the pay range. Candidates with a disability who meet the essential criteria below will be invited to the assessments.

Would you like to play a central role in supporting public trust and confidence in Scottish charities? We are looking for an individual with strong management and motivational skills to lead our team of investigators. Our inquiry and compliance work can be complex and high profile. You will have the ability to support colleagues through this work, and to build and maintain stakeholder relationships in challenging circumstances.  OSCR is expanding its risk-based approach to regulation and you will play a key role in working collaboratively across the organisation to evolve our understanding and assessment of risk. 

Qualifications Required
For jobs in Band B & C you must hold a minimum of 3 Highers or equivalent.

Other qualifications equivalent to these may also be acceptable, if you are in any doubt please contact to discuss.

Essential Criteria
1. Strong performance management skills with a proven ability to coach and support staff through complex decision-making.
2. Proven ability to apply risk management principles to decision-making.
3. Experience of leading change and continuous improvement and working flexibly across teams.
4. Proven relationship management skills (including influencing and conflict management).
