We are currently seeking applications for a Private Secretary for Deputy Chief Medical Officer within the Director-General Health and Social Care based in Edinburgh. This is a permanent and pensionable appointment and new entrants will normally start on the minimum of the pay range. Essential Criteria
1. Open to new ideas and ways of working; proactive in contributing ideas and energy to continuous improvement.
2. An ability to build trust and credibility with senior staff, maintaining good working relationships with colleagues through clear and persuasive written and verbal communication.
3. Strong planning and organisational skills, including the ability to manage challenging workloads and competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
4. Ability to consider, digest and analyse often complex information quickly and accurately and communicate to a varied audience.
