We are currently seeking applications for a Senior Resourcing Manager within the People Directorate based in Edinburgh. This is a permanent and pensionable appointment and new entrants will normally start on the minimum of the pay range. Candidates with a disability who meet the essential criteria below will be invited to the assessments.

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Scottish Government’s People Directorate to support the People Strategy of having the right people in the right place with the right skills at the right time. This post offers an excellent opportunity to provide senior attraction and recruitment leadership to a busy customer facing team, delivering resourcing solutions across the Scottish Government, its Executive Agencies and associated departments. The resourcing team supports permanent and temporary resourcing solutions, including; internal, other government department transfers, external recruitment, as well as all areas of interchange including secondments and loans.

Qualifications Required
For jobs in Band B & C you must hold a minimum of 3 Highers or equivalent or relevant experience from a recruitment and operational environment.

Other qualifications equivalent to these may also be acceptable, if you are in any doubt please contact to discuss.

Essential Criteria
1. Experience of attraction and recruitment within a large resourcing team, at a senior level, with the skills to manage at the operational and strategic levels.
2. People management and influencing skills with the ability to motivate people to embrace and deliver change.
3. Experience of collaborating successfully with colleagues and wider stakeholders to deliver successful outcomes.
4. Experience of planning and co-ordinating projects, with sound analytical skills and the use of data to support decisions.
