We are currently seeking applications for an Organisational Learning & Development Administrator within the Student Awards Agency for Scotland (SAAS) based in Saughton House, Edinburgh. This is a 12 month fixed term and pensionable appointment and new entrants will normally start on the minimum of the pay range. Candidates with a disability who meet the essential criteria below will be invited to the assessments.
The Student Awards Agency Scotland (SAAS) is part of the Scottish Government. This posts sits within the Corporate Services Division of the Agency, supporting the learning and development of our staff.
For jobs in Band A, you must hold a minimum of 5 Standard Grades (grades 1 – 3) or Ordinary Grades (A-C) including English and a numerical subject.
Other qualifications equivalent to these may also be acceptable, if you are in any doubt please contact to discuss. Relevant experience in a similar role will be considered in place of the above qualifications.

1. Working knowledge/experience of the OL&D function within an operational environment
2. Strong communication skills, dealing with a wide range of customers both verbally and in writing
3. Highly effective organisational skills, ensuring priorities are met within agreed deadlines.
4. Competent in using various ICT packages in particular PowerPoint in addition to Word, excel etc.
