We are currently seeking applications for a Place Outcomes Lead within in the Planning & Architecture Division, based in Edinburgh.  This is a 23 month fixed term and pensionable appointment and new entrants will normally start on the minimum of the pay range. Candidates with a disability who meet the essential criteria below will be invited to the assessments.

The post sits in the Architecture and Place team within Planning & Architecture Division.   The Architecture and Place team works across a wide range of Ministerial priorities, influencing and supporting policy areas such as health, climate change and environment, housing and regeneration, culture and heritage, community empowerment and community planning and contributes to the delivery of all of Scotland’s National Outcomes.  Place, and the impact of the external environment on individuals and society is a central element of work of the team.  

Qualifications Required 
For jobs in Band B and C you must hold a minimum of 3 highers or equivalent.

Essential Criteria
1. Knowledge of the evidence base on the relationship between place and public health, climate change and young people.
2. Experience of collaborative, place-based working practices involving community and public sector interests.
3. Strong interpersonal, influencing and stakeholder management skills.
4. Experience of building and maintaining relationships and working in collaboration with internal and external colleagues.
