We are currently seeking applications for a Marketing Manager within the Marketing and Insight Unit based in Edinburgh. This is a fixed term and pensionable appointment and new entrants will normally start on the minimum of the pay range. Candidates with a disability who meet the essential criteria below will be invited to the assessments.

The successful candidate will work closely with senior marketing managers within the Parental Audience Marketing Team to support delivery of individual integrated marketing campaigns for specific topic areas. Applicants must have the ability to understand the needs of Policy and Ministers, to recognise where marketing can be utilised as one of the levers to meet those needs and to devise effective marketing solutions

Qualifications Required
For jobs in Band B & C you must hold a minimum of 3 Highers or equivalent.

Essential Criteria
1. Proven expertise in the management and execution of marketing campaigns, including experience of utilising research and insight, development of marketing briefs, providing actionable feedback on creative work, monitoring campaign performance and evaluation and ensuring work is delivered on time and on budget.
2. Experience of working across at least one of the following marketing channels: advertising, digital, CRM, field marketing, partnerships, PR and social.
3. Ability to build and maintain constructive relationships with a range of partners (such as internal colleagues, external delivery stakeholders and marketing agencies), including the ability to effectively present marketing approaches and creative work.
4. Experience in developing and implementing a social media activity programme, including community management across social media channels.
