NHS Scotland Global Citizenship Policy Officer (B1)
International development is a key part of Scotland’s global contribution. For many years members of staff from across all staff groups in NHS Scotland have made significant personal and professional contribution to global health work in low and middle income countries. The Scottish Global Health Co-ordination Unit was established last year with the primary role of supporting and valuing the contribution of NHS staff who participate in global health work in low and middle income countries.
For jobs in Band B & C you must hold a minimum of 3 Highers or equivalent.
Other qualifications equivalent to these may also be acceptable, if you are in any doubt please contact to discuss.

1. Good verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present your views persuasively and confidently.
2. Knowledge of international development in low and middle income countries.
3. Knowledge of global citizenship in NHS Scotland.
4. Knowledge of project and programme management approaches.
