We are currently seeking applications for a Finance Business Partner within Social Security Scotland based in Glasgow. This is a permanent and pensionable appointment and new entrants will normally start on the minimum of the pay range. The successful candidate will join the new social security agency which will deliver devolved Benefits to the people of Scotland. We are recruiting for an enthusiastic Finance Business Partner to help shape the development of the Corporate Finance team that supports the agency. Our top priority is to ensure the safe and secure transition of 11 benefits for the 1.4 million people who rely on them in Scotland.

Qualifications Required
For jobs in Band B & C you must hold a minimum of 3 Highers or equivalent.

CCAB Qualified or finalist.

Essential Criteria
1.  Strong Financial management experience preferably in a Finance Business Partner role.
2. Proven ability to work on your own initiative, coping with the demands of a fast paced challenging environment where opportunities need to be quickly realised.
3. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with a proven ability to explain financial information effectively to both finance and non-finance professionals.
4. Effective people management skills.
