We are currently seeking applications for an Organisation Development Lead within the National Records of Scotland (NRS) based in Edinburgh. This is a permanent and pensionable appointment and new entrants will normally start on the minimum of the pay range. Candidates with a disability who meet the essential criteria below will be invited to the assessments.

Reporting to the Head of Strategy and Planning (C1), you will lead the delivery of a range of organisational development and change measures to support the delivery of the NRS Strategy. You will help build a culture of continuous improvement, and ensure staff are equipped with the skills and experience they require to deliver our strategic vision. Your work will cover a wide range of initiatives including organisational development, building leadership and management capacity, and employee engagement. As part of the Strategy and Planning team, you will work closely with colleagues who cover business improvement and staff engagement. You will have regular contact with the business leads and Directors responsible for delivering the day to day work of our organisation and agreeing with them the activities which would best support staff in their areas.

Qualifications Required
For jobs in Band B & C you must hold a minimum of 3 Highers or equivalent.

Essential Criteria
1. Experience in influencing cultural change, using analysis and investigation to identify key issues and propose interventions.
2. Skilled in and knowledge of leading and delivering a range of interventions, to support an organisation undergoing change.
3. Experience of delivering a variety of leadership and management development activities.
4. Experience of building relationships and credibility with colleagues at all levels to achieve shared goals.
