We are currently seeking applications for a Planning, Design & Implementation Support vacancy within The Promise based in Edinburgh.  This is a fixed-term and pensionable appointment and the new entrants will normally start on the minimum of the pay range.  Candidates with a disability who meet the essential criteria below will be invited to the assessments. On 5 February 2020 the Care review published seven reports

The Promise will make sure Scotland listens to children and adults with lived experience of Scotland’s system of care, families and the paid and unpaid workforce and deliver the changes needed. This role has primary responsibility to support the Planning, Design and Implementation Unit to make sure the team has everything they need and are well supported to work closely and collaboratively with all of those with statutory responsibility, including national and local partners and providers for Keeping The Promise.

The team will be incubated in Scottish Government for up to 9 months while work takes place to explore options of being housed externally therefore the current roles are short term fixed term appointments until 31st March 2021.

Qualifications Required
For jobs in Band A, you must hold a minimum of 5 Standard Grades (grades 1 – 3) or Ordinary Grades (A-C) including English and a numerical subject.

Other qualifications equivalent to these may also be acceptable, if you are in any doubt please contact to discuss.

Essential Criteria
1. The ability to prioritise and manage a busy and varied workload.
2. Excellent project management skills.
3. Good grasp of IT and an ability to work across a range of systems .
4. Excellent administrative skills and the ability to produce clear, concise reports in a timely manner.
