We are currently seeking applications for a Personal Assistant – Programme Management and Delivery Division (PMDD) within the SSD: Programme Management Delivery based in Glasgow and Edinburgh. This is a permanent and pensionable appointment and new entrants will normally start on the minimum of the pay range. Candidates with a disability who meet the essential criteria below will be invited to the assessments.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a small Business Management Unit, working to its senior management team, right at the heart of the Programme, during a key period of delivery.

The Programme recently undertook a review of its resourcing and structures and it was agreed that a new Deputy Director should be added to the senior leadership team in order to spread the risk and delivery pressures associated of this complex and challenging Programme.

The Personal Assistant (PA) role is required to ensure that the new deputy director has all the administrative support they require to function in their role.

The post will be based in Atlantic Quay Glasgow or Victoria Quay Edinburgh – with travel between both required. Currently working from home.

Qualifications Required
For jobs in Band B & C you must hold a minimum of 3 Highers or equivalent, or relevant experience.

2. Strong organisational skills, with the ability to work flexibly either as part of a team or on your own.
3. Strong oral and written communications skills adaptable to a variety of channels and range of audiences.
4. Ability to build effective working relationships, trust and credibility with staff at all levels.
