We are currently seeking applications for Service Owners within Social Security based in Edinburgh or Glasgow. This is a permanent and pensionable appointment and new entrants will normally start on the minimum of the pay range. Candidates with a disability who meet the essential criteria below will be invited to the assessments.

Following the Smith Commission the Scotland Act 2016 and the Social Security (Scotland) Act 2018 put in place an overarching legislative framework for the administration of social security in Scotland. The Scottish Government is now reforming social security in Scotland and has implemented a programme of work which is delivering the infrastructure necessary for a brand new public service for Scotland, ensuring the service meets the needs of the people of Scotland now and in the future. It is an extremely important change with the ambition to make a real difference to the lives of individuals receiving devolved benefits in Scotland.

Qualifications Required
For jobs in Band B & C you must hold a minimum of 3 Highers or equivalent or relevant experience in a similar role.

Essential Criteria
1.Experience and knowledge of delivering large Programmes of work incorporating business and technical challenge, using mainly Agile project delivery methodologies but also demonstrating experience/ knowledge of other methodologies.
2.Excellent communication skills and extensive experience of building successful stakeholder relationships at the most senior levels of large programmes and organisations, to ensure programme delivery.
3.Experience of setting and managing business priorities, roles and responsibilities with individual and team ownership of objectives, in a change management environment.
4.Experience of working in a digital environment to deliver projects and products.

We are also asking you to ensure that your personal Wi-Fi/Broadband capacity will be sufficient to carry both audio and video feeds.
