We are currently seeking applications for an Infrastructure Administrator within National Records of Scotland based in Edinburgh. This is a permanent and pensionable appointment and new entrants will normally start on the minimum of the pay range. Candidates with a disability who meet the essential criteria below will be invited to the assessments.

This post attracts a £4000 ICT Pay Supplement after a 9 months ICT Competency qualifying period. Pay supplements are temporary payments designed to address recruitment and retention issues caused by market pressures and are subject to regular review.

The post will provide support of infrastructure technologies within IT Services. The role will include the ongoing management and maintenance of current NRS infrastructure technologies, the resolution of incidents and the implementation of service requests made by the business through the IT Change Team.

Qualifications Required
For jobs in Band B & C you must hold a minimum of 3 Highers or equivalent.

Essential Criteria
1. Experience working in an IT infrastructure support role including network and domain services.
2. Experience creating and maintaining procedures and technical documentation.
3. Monitoring of infrastructure, application and security services.
4. Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
