We are currently seeking applications for a Contract Management Team Officer within Accountancy in Bankruptcy based in Kilwinning. This is a permanent and pensionable appointment and new entrants will normally start on the minimum of the pay range. The Accountant in Bankruptcy (AiB) is responsible for the supervision and some administration of personal bankruptcy in Scotland.

This B1 role is located within the Accountant in Bankruptcy Contracts team. Centralising contract management processes, the team is responsible for the contract management of the majority of AiB contracts and currently consists of 7 members of staff.

Working within a centralised contracts team, you will support the management of some of AiB's key contracts, using various methods and contract management tools. The contract management process looks at the performance of suppliers, assessing the efficiency of actions, accuracy and timeliness. You will work closely alongside case operations and internal teams to rate performance, identify trends and escalate areas for resolution. You will support regular review meetings, building relationships with suppliers, arranging workshops and debates to discuss continuous improvement.
The role provides an excellent opportunity to work closely with internal colleagues and contract suppliers, building relationships through commercial awareness and contract management.

Qualifications Required
For jobs in Band B & C you must hold a minimum of 3 Highers or equivalent.

Essential Criteria
1. Excellent verbal and written communication, with the ability to establish good working relationships with external stakeholders and a strong degree of accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of work.
2. Good planning and organisational skills, with the ability to balance competing priorities and a busy workload to meet tight deadlines.
3. The ability to work both independently and as part of a small team whilst adapting to changing work priorities.
4. The ability to effectively analyse information and numerical data, with a good working knowledge of excel, in order to generate solutions and recommendations.
