We are currently seeking applications for Senior Place Manager within Social Security Scotland based in Dundee or Glasgow. This is a permanent and pensionable appointment and new entrants will normally start on the minimum of the pay range. Social Security Scotland is an Executive Agency of the Scottish Government. In Scotland we have a number of devolved benefits, and it's our responsibility to ensure that they are managed correctly and fairly, delivering those benefits to the 1.4 million people who rely on them.

The Place Services branch has the responsibility to lead the accommodation, travel, and smarter working arrangements for the Agency. There are two operational teams one located at our headquarters in Dundee and other in Glasgow. A new business management unit is currently being developed to support these operational teams, and to provide leadership in the areas under the responsibility of the Service.

The post holder will report to, and work closely with, the Head of Place Services to ensure that business activities are aligned across the Service to support the Agency achieve it's corporate objectives as outlined in the Corporate Plan.

Qualifications Required
For jobs in Band B & C you must hold a minimum of 3 Highers or equivalent.
Other qualifications equivalent to these may also be acceptable, if you are in any doubt please contact to discuss.

Experience of Property or Estate Management is preferred
