We are currently seeking applications for a Transformation Lead within the Digital Directorate based in Edinburgh. This is a permanent and pensionable appointment and new entrants will normally start on the minimum of the pay range. Overview
As a Transformation Lead in the Digital Directorate you will lead on the delivery of large scale, complex programmes of work (either across the Scottish Government and/or wider Public Sector Partners) in line with the strategic mission of DPSBT to create a digital ecosystem.

As part of our senior management team, you will be required to work laterally across the division and assume collective responsibility for shared divisional and wider directorate priorities.

Qualifications Required
For jobs in Band B & C you must hold a minimum of 3 Highers or equivalent.

Essential Criteria
1. Experience at senior level in leading and managing successful digital transformation programmes including transactional services and strategy development using a variety of methodologies including value chain mapping, lean and six sigma.
2. Experience of a range of programme methodologies (Prince, Agile and Kanban etc).
3. Experience of supporting, coaching and matrix managing multidisciplinary teams.
4. Experience of delivering public sector transactional services and/or relevant private transactional services. (e.g. Bulk processing/ applications etc.).
